Raksha Bandhan means "Bond of protection". Raksha Bandhan is a festival which celebrates the bond of affection between brothers and sisters. It is a day when siblings pray for each others' well being and wish for each others' happiness and goodwill. On this auspicious day, brothers make a promise to their sisters to protect them from all harms and troubles and the sisters pray to God to protect their brother from all evil.

You all must be knowing about my thoughts towards handmade; yes.. "Happiness is handmade." !!

DIY : Hand painted paper lantern

Hello friends...

Today I am back with my new DIY project . I have had this plain yellow paper lantern in my bedroom since 2 years ; I got bored to see the same plain yellow lamp so decided to work on it and look, my lamp is ready to glow by simply adding warli figures.

It couldn't be a simpler project as there could be chances of tearing and spoiling the paper lantern. But now you can see the result of patient and careful work :)

Bottle Art

" Lal Chadi Maidan khadi ; kya khoob ladi, kya khoob ladi "  I started singing this beautiful Bollywood song when i saw my finished bottle art project.

 Last year one of my friend gave me a beautiful wine bottle for my up cycle art projects; And see now that waste wine bottle turned into beautiful home decor !  When I gifted her this red beauty ; She was so happy to see the transformation of plain transparent wine bottle into beautiful art piece.

Spring : Season of New Beginings

Hi Friends. Hope you all must be enjoying a beautiful spring season! Spring is the season of the new beginnings. Fresh buds bloom and the earth seems to come to life again.
It paints nature in vivid bright beautiful shades of colors. We see all tiny creatures starting to build a new life , birds cheerfully singing , fresh and colorful flowers ...wow, everything colored and alive.
Really Spring brings nature back to life!!!
Today I will walk you through my "Spring" gallery where I have captured nature's beauty through my lenses.

And lastly these pretty blooms from my garden :)

After seeing these nature's beauties; how couldn't I get inspired to paint. Of course I did it and here is my "Blossom" painting inspired from the lovely season, Spring :)

Today I am back with my another up-cycled art.I painted these warli beauties on a piece of wasted veneer sheet which was thrown out by car painter.Using purple glitter paper and by drawing my warli dancing dolls I turned it to a beautiful Home Decor...

Today i am showing you a beautiful gift painted for my friend...Yes, It is a hand painted scarf / pashmina.
I wanted to paint scarf in different way but of course in my warli style..So came up with unusual design..Right and left sides are not identical...

Valentine's Day DIY project

Today I am sharing with you all simple and romantic valentine's day decor. Last year Me and my friend did this decoration for our valentine to give party. Due to bad snowy weather, we decided to celebrate day at home and then we came up with this cute idea!!

We made bunch of little hearts and hung them from ceiling. Also fixed the strings of lights in heart shape on wall and that's it. 

By adding some flowers , candles and playing songs we created perfect romantic atmosphere :) 

Well, You must be thinking of this year's surprise then here is a cute art made for my husband in my colorful warli style :)

Recycled Art - Transformation of Sugad into decorated earthen pots

Happy Monday Friends, Here I am back with new recycled project.

Transformation of Makarsankranti Sugad (earthen pots which are used for puja) into multipurpose earthen decorated pots....Well I am thinking to use these black beauties as a planters or show piece or kitchen decor. I am confused....Friends, May be you can suggest me!!!!
